Celebrations

Life events mark sacred milestones in our journey with God. Weddings, baptisms, child dedications, commitments of faith, seasons of healing, and times of loss are moments when God’s presence is especially evident. At GCC, we don’t walk through these moments in isolation—we walk through them together.

We celebrate life events because they reflect the heart of Christian community: rejoicing with those who rejoice and mourning with those who mourn. When we gather around these milestones, we affirm that each person’s story matters and that God is actively at work in our shared story as a church family.

Celebrating life events strengthens our relationships, deepens our faith, and reminds us that we belong to one another. These moments help us live out our calling as the body of Christ—supporting, encouraging, and loving one another through every season of life.

At GCC, life events are more than ceremonies. They are sacred expressions of life together—a living testimony to God’s faithfulness, grace, and presence among His people.
