Like the old song goes, “I’ve looked at life from both sides now…” and the view is best when living from God’s perspective. At the age of 33, I discovered The Truth of God, acknowledged Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and began to make life choices according to His Word and promises. By the age of 40, I became convinced that Jesus is in fact alive and, is 100% faithful to His Word even when I’m less than faithful to Him—I no longer accepted any excuse from myself to choose against following Him. At the age of 42, He called me to become a pastor and then to start a church and move to last place on earth I would choose to work and live—Bridgeport, CT. I loved serving Him there. At the age of 49, He called to me to move again, this time to Chester MA. In May of 2012 at the age of 51, God called me to become the Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Christian Church, and now to help you discover all God is calling you to be.
I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior when I was 30, and God has been working in me through His Holy Spirit ever since; when you allow Jesus into your heart, He gets rid of all the trash and broken bits that you keep hold of, and replaces it with the truth. Over the years, He has removed the obstacles before me, somtimes painfully, to bring me to a place where I was ready to accept the call to ministry here in Chester. It is amazing to look back and see how His perfect plan worked, and even more awesome to watch it continue to unfold in my life and in the lives of others. I am currently enrolled at Christian Leaders Institute, and also work full time, but my main focus is on the spiritual health and growth of this congregation and community.
